History: Sonnova Piano is the newly established brand from Caruso Piano. Established in 1929, John Caruso started off in accordion sales and teaching. He established a very successful mail order business in accordions. The business flourished in the Navy town of New London, Connecticut with guitars, amplifiers and various other musical instruments. His 2 sons, Larry and Richard Caruso took over the business after their father retired and in the late 80’s, pianos were added to the store. While they do a thriving business in their 2 locations, they also have over 60 years of mail order experience. With this background, they have launched Sonnova Piano, the world’s first direct-to-consumer piano company.
