Impressions “The Ritmuller GH148R grand piano has a touch that is even and consistent – up the middle for resistance. While the bass and mid sections are comfortably warm, it smoothly tapers to a slightly brighter tone at the top end. My perception is that it contains a slightly fuller and closer sound than its cousin, the Ritmuller R8. That said, both pianos are ideal choices for grand pianos, especially considering the price.” ~ Glen Barkman

History: Established in 1954, Guangzhou, China, Pearl River is the largest piano builder in the world surpassing 100,000 pianos annually. They have over 1.3 million square feet of manufacturing space and a staff of over 4000 employees. Recently their pianos have been redesigned by a European designer. Ritmuller is the name used for the more European sounding piano from Pearl River.
