History: Established in 1852 by Albert Weber in New York. The company became part of Young Chang in 1986 and in 2006 was purchased by Hyundai Development Company. American designer Del Fandrich has redesigned both Young Chang and Weber lines. Presently Young Chang has divided the line of pianos into three parts: Young Chang, Weber and Albert Weber collections. The AW121 is the highest level of the Weber series built in Korea.

History: Johann Irmler established his company in 1818 in Leipzig. During World War II, the factory was bombed and the company was decimated. Although attempts were made to continue operation, it closed in 1953. Presently, the pianos have been re-introduced and marketed through Blüthner. The Studio series is made in China and then shipped to Germany for hammers and inspection while the Professional series (models ending in "E") is assembled in Germany having cabinets made in Indonesia and Poland.

History: Johann Irmler established his company in 1818 in Leipzig. During World War II, the factory was bombed and the company was decimated. History: Max & Richard Zimmermann established the Zimmermann Piano Company in 1884. At the turn of the 20th century the company grew to become one of the largest manufacturers in Europe. In 1992, the company was purchased by Bechstein. This newly re-branded piano is designed in Germany and now built in China. Some models have 2 options of "Standard" and "Classic". The Classic line is a step up in cabinetry (slow close fallboard and chrome lid prop etc) and also contains soundboard 'resonators' for optimal volume.

History: Dwight Hamilton Baldwin was the founder of Baldwin Piano and Organ Company, one of the largest makers in the USA. Established in 1862. After 140 years, the company was sold to Gibson Guitar Corporation. All present manufacturing occurs in China at the Dongbei factory and marketed through North American Music.
